As a photographer who is more than proficient with Photoshop, I suspect that several of the photographs have increased levels of saturation and contrast. In at least one instance, the photograph appears to be processed using HDR.

Each photographer must make his own choice as to how to process a photograph. In my case, I add contrast, but not too much saturation. Having said that, contrast can increase saturation. My overall philosophy is never too push the adjustments beyond the point that in my words “I can no longer sell it” In other words, it is no longer believable. However, I have captured scenes that without making any adjustment I find unbelievable. Sometimes the light is just right.

Too many photographers forget that color carries a wow factor, but people often grow tired of the photograph quickly. Many times, monochrome is the better route.

Frascati? If it’s the same place, I went there on a day trip about 15 years ago, and it was nice. Great wine too.
Tivoli was another great place to see- Villa d’Este and Hadrian’s Villa are beautiful.

I’ve not been to Toledo, but agree that Bruges is lovely. As Roger said, it’s probably considered too big a town for this list.

Wrong, these colors are true, not saturated or manipulated as much as you would like to think.

Sounds very lovely & yes romantic, but if I drank that much wine I would find my self asleep missing the tour & would need to be carried to my room, LOL.

Absolutely interesting, besides the beautiful colors, I would find it’s culture would keep me there for weeks or months as well as meeting & speaking with the native people.

True we all have eyes but we all see things in a different way & in a different light. Just like taste buds, we all have them but we don’t all like the same foods. Perhaps you absolutely love oysters, best taste on this planet to your pallet, but the person with you finds them just okay & would find lobster to be the beat all of all foods. We all have our own cup of tea in what we like in art just like foods. Cutting down someone else s view of what they find as beautiful helps no one.
